No spiritual method replaces medical or psychological care. Persistent insomnia, persecution feelings, command voices, self-harm impulses — see a doctor first. Traditional societies also distinguished illness from calling, and never shunned medicine.
The sensitive person's first lesson is always grounding, shielding, and closing — never "opening." You are sensitive enough; train the valve, not the antenna.
Ethnographic material touching on psychoactive plants is kept for historical understanding only. Under no circumstances is self-administering any "spiritual substance" advised.
Traditions marked ⚠ (Native North American, Aboriginal Australian, Ifá, Vodou and other initiatory systems) are for understanding, not use. Burning white sage, self-styled "shaman" titles, imitation sweat lodges — all cross the line. Open-tradition botanicals (mugwort, frankincense, rosemary, juniper) serve fully.
Start at level 1 (everyday-safe); one method mastered outweighs ten sampled. Never self-operate anything marked "reference only / needs a teacher."
Open with a boundary, close with a sealing. "Left switched on" is the commonest cause of discomfort in energy work.
Never re-ask the same matter; major decisions remain your own responsibility. The Yi says: "repeated asking profanes; profaned, it does not inform."
Expensive "consecrated" tools, paid "disaster removal," online "masters" exorcising remotely — the traditions contain none of this. Genuine officiants are rooted in community and lineage.
Keep an impression log; count your hits. Discount by default whatever arrives hungry, sleepless, premenstrual, or anxious. Verifiability is every tradition's shared test between vision and fancy.
Whoever asks, gives; whatever is granted, is thanked. This is the common law of the world's traditions — and basic courtesy toward all that exists.

This is a sealed online archive: the ancient knowledge and wisdom of spiritual cultivation and energy work across eight world regions and forty-two traditions. "Sealed" means the ancient crystallization is complete — the library curates and presents faithfully, and chases no fashion.
By default the desk is a purely local engine: intent recognition and matching across the library's three tiers (somatic · household · ritual), with body-based methods (breath / movement / visualization / voice) ranked first, then recipes using only what a kitchen already holds. Every suggestion opens to its textual source; when the archive holds nothing, it says "not relevant" rather than invent. Ask in Chinese or English — a built-in bilingual glossary gives both languages equal matching precision.
Beyond that, "search the open web" is manual: only the free open APIs of Wikipedia and the Internet Archive, under optimal-quality routing — Chinese terms to Chinese Wikipedia, English terms to English Wikipedia and the Internet Archive (each source searched in its own strongest language). Translation runs through a two-stage pipeline (domain glossary → Wikipedia inter-language links), and original terms are never dropped — they search in parallel with translations, so no language loses weight. Results sit in their own labeled section, strictly apart from the sealed collection.
